 is looking for beta testers

Our iPhone App, goodMatches, is a rating-based matchup rotation generator for social/practice sessions in racket sport clubs and groups (tennis, table tennis, badminton, pickleball, padel). It has been conceived to make group sessions fair and balanced: pairings are determined on players’ ratings, which are updated as the results come in, to reflect the true skills of the players. 

Other features:

  • Easy sharing of group data
  • Rating feedback: rating gains are shown after every match. 
  • Supports doubles and singles: including sessions that mix both.
  • Fair resting rotation: rotating sit-outs evenly and alternately.
  • Flexible mid-session changes: add or remove players when someone arrives late or leaves.
If you are an iPhone user and interested (and aged 18 or older), we need your help. 

As we say in the homepage, we are a small company and need your honest assessment of the app, before rolling it out worldwide (currently available in Europe and Japan). We are keen to know what you think of the app, where we can improve and what additional functions you’d like to have, etc.

If you are happy to help, please fill in the Application Form at the bottom of this page and register with your email address. We guarantee you that your email address will be used only for the following purposes: notifications from TestFlight (Apple’s app for beta version testing), confirming registration, follow-up questions on your comments (only if needed, and rarely so) and sending out the prize described below (Privacy Policy).

When you are registered, you will kindly be asked to use the app and send us TestFlight messages within the pilot period (to be announced).  We plan to make several updates in this period, when you’ll receive notifications. This also means you will see some of the requested features added as you test it!

Everyone who provides meaningful feedback (positive or critical) will enter a draw and  5 testers will be chosen at random to receive a £50 Amazon digital gift card (or equivalent in your country in your chosen currency)* as a thank-you for contributing valuable feedback. Additionally, everyone who enters the draw will receive access to all premium features which are scheduled to be added in spring 2026. *Rewards may vary subject to your local laws.

Steps:
  1. Register by submitting the Application Form
  2. When the pilot beta version is available (planned in January 2026), you will receive an email from Apple TestFlight inviting you to test goodMatches
  3. Use goodMatches in real life situations (e.g. when you play social tennis/badminton/table tennis)
  4. Provide us your feedback within the pilot period (we will announce the exact dates here and notify you)
  5. We will chose 5 testers randomly from the entrants who have provided us with relevant feedback.
  6. We will announce the winners (in the Application Form you will choose whether you would like to be announced, and may also specify the name to be used for that purpose)
  7. If you are successful, you will receive a £50 voucher within a few days from the announcement
